John Schreiber has been in love with photography since he first stepped into a dark room in 7th grade. Currently, he is working towards a master's degree in photojournalism at the University of Missouri. While working towards his degree, John has served as a coordinator for the Pictures of the Year International competition as well as the College Photographer of the Year competition. Most recently, he worked as the summer photography intern at the Reno Gazette-Journal in Reno, Nevada where he worked on assignments ranging from spot news to sports.
John graduated from Southern Methodist Univeristy in Dallas, Tx. with a BBA in marketing. While working towards his degree, he also served as the photography editor for 4 years at SMU's student newspaper, The Daily Campus.
When not out photographing, John is an avid hiker, backpacker, and outdoors enthusiast. Someday, he will have to leave Missouri because he loves the mountains a little too much.
